Triangle ReCARE gives gently used medical equipment a second life while helping older adults in the Triangle age safely, independently, and with dignity.
Triangle ReCARE is a community-based nonprofit helping older adults in the Triangle age safely, independently, and with dignity. We recover, repair, and restore gently used medical equipment, giving it a second life and helping connect people with the resources they need.
Unused medical equipment is often left behind or thrown away, while people in our community still need it.
We collect gently used medical equipment that might otherwise go unused.
We clean and repair equipment to make sure it is ready for safe use.
We give equipment a second life by connecting it with people who need it.
For more than a decade, Todd P. O'Neill saw valuable medical equipment being thrown away while families in the community still needed it. He began collecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment to give it a second life. That work eventually became Triangle ReCARE.
